La littérature sur le sujet parle en effet de la synergie sur les troubles de l'humeur et de la dépression.

Ce qui est à prendre en compte cependant, c'est que les doses thérapeutiques en psychiatrie de ketamine sont bien plus faibles que la k en soirée.

Alors autant le mélange pris dans un cadre thérapeutique et hospitalier présente peu de risques car tu es généralement monitoré avant, pdt et après, autant en soirée tu augmentes les risques de chutes, blessures due à l'augmentation de la sedation, augmentation de la confusion, etc. Ils parlent également de dépression respiratoire possible.

Comme dit plus haut, tous ces possible symptômes surveillés et pris en charge en milieu médicalisé, le risque de danger est réduit mais en extérieur...

Using ketamine together with lithium may increase side effects such as dizziness, drowsiness, confusion, difficulty concentrating, excessive sedation, and respiratory depression. Some people, especially the elderly, may also experience impairment in thinking, judgment, and motor coordination. You should avoid or limit the use of alcohol while being treated with ketamine. Also avoid activities requiring mental alertness such as driving, operating hazardous machinery, or engaging in potentially hazardous activities until you know how the medications affect you. Talk to your doctor if you have any questions or concerns. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor

MONITOR CLOSELY: Coadministration of ketamine with other central nervous system (CNS) depressants, including alcohol, may result in profound sedation, respiratory depression, coma, and death. In addition, opioid analgesics, barbiturates, and benzodiazepines may prolong the time to complete recovery from anesthesia.

MANAGEMENT: During concomitant use of ketamine with other CNS depressants, including alcohol, close monitoring of neurologic status and respiratory parameters, including respiratory rate and pulse oximetry, is recommended. Dosage adjustments should be considered according to the patient's clinical situation. Ambulatory patients should be counseled to avoid hazardous activities requiring mental alertness and motor coordination until they know how these agents affect them, and to notify their physician if they experience excessive or prolonged CNS effects that interfere with their normal activities.
